These Acetates' copper plates were used to produced Van Halen's album vinyl records titled 'Balance'. The Person/ Collector who I acquired these acetates from considered them to be "the holy grail" not only for some Van Halen fans but for any musical collector since it reproduced what could arguably be called the last Van Halen album of an era, which regardless or whether 

One is a Roth vs Hagar fan, the focus to me on Van Halen was and will always be Eddie and his supreme mastery of the beautiful instrument that is the electric guitar. As much as i appreciate both Hagar and Roth's contribution to the VH sound (each depending on my mood on a given day), what is always an amazing constant is Eddie playing the guitar with a technical/ feel that only he could and very few others perhaps ever will, at that 'scale' anyways.

Of all the art forms music 'moves' us in so many ways as it touches our soul which is unique to the medium and hence in some respects these historic reproduction acetates are frankly priceless to some(my self included), however; I am raising funds for other noble causes which are more practical in nature such as an animal rescue sanctuary and thus I reasoned the time has come for some one else to become the righteous custodian of these musical "holy grail", 

as such; whilst initially listing them here on eBay, I am in the process of contacting several auction boutique houses in order to better asses the best route for transferring them.

As many of you Vinyl connoisseur know, acetates are not meant to be played on a record player's needle. Nevertheless; I recorded one minute of play only (please see video) to prove authenticity of the collectable. Albeit please note I used an over the counter vinyl player because as much as play is not good for the acetate, the needle gets destroyed on copper and hence please understand the sound captured quality on my video clip along the cheap speakers the vinyl 

player box came with since my attempted to aux the sound via stereo jack was unsuccessful; yet, it still rocked me to my core when i heard Alex Van Halen's drum intro to the song (talk about a powerful entry). Furthermore; both serial numbers (hand written) and the studio name in New York are covered to avoid counterfeit or 'copy cats' across the internet. Needless to say, the copper plates are safely stored and will be shipped with proper insurance and ultra fast shipping.  

As a bonus I will be including one original vinyl copy of the Balance album itself of course, still seal; which to my amazement are now selling for about thousand bucks, my goodness, i guess vinyl is really coming back after all. Moreover; I am also considering to include one of my Peavey Wolfgang guitars as an even added extra bonus on the auction house alternative to eBay but may considered to add it here as well.

Finally; Van Halen's album title Balance encompasses what the music band always did for me when i dove into trance whilst listening to their music, a rekindle sense of balance. Perhaps way ahead of its time, balance is very much needed in our current world which seems to be incresingly 'off balance'.
